Thursday Obsession- Barat Knit Caps

It is a new obsession of mine and I can't get enough! It's like hot coco or horror films! Well here in Nevada, when winter comes, it hits and hits hard!! So I have to find something that fits nice and looks cute. Now, I never wear anything thats in style. I only wear it when its fading out. It's My Party Day!!

Happy It's My Party Day!

Tuesday, October 11th is known as the above saying. For Christmas last year, my dad gave us all a very elaborate day-by-day calender of all things quirky! Birthdays, anniversaries, and those fun day facts. He worked on it for a whole year before giving it to us. Its so much fun seeing what the next day will be. So the question is.... How are you going to celebrate 'Party Day'? Here are some ideas:

1. Make yourself a cake!!

2. Go shopping for something just for you..

3. Do a craft project such as making cute birthday cards.

4. Go grab a Starbucks with a good friend or just a great book!

5. Go get a manicure to celebrate those ten fingers of yours!

....Rings of Bling....

I LOVE RINGS!!

They really are the one item that can bring an outfit together(besides nail polish of course!). I myself have probably about 20 different rings. Which I could totally have so many more of! I love seeing all the different colors, shapes, and sizes. Today I was reading up on my daily intake of news, and I stumbled upon a ring that is 110 carats!! That is insane! I could not believe that. But anyway! Rings are my favorite. Whether they are big, small, shiny, matte, they are all beautiful and unique.

Coats, Coats, Coats Galore!

Hello Winter!! You are fast approaching, so I thought I would do an ode to the Fall/Winter coat. This is one of my most favorite items for the cooler weather. I bought my first beautiful red coat from Macy's last Thanksgiving, so I'm excited to break it out once more!! Here are a few pictures of some beautiful coats I found online. Enjoy!

I love the black color and style for this coat. Its got the large buttons and an interested neck that reminds me of a scarf. Very classic.

This white one is always in style, especially after Labor Day. Just be careful you don't get snow slush on it!

Green is an all time favorite color of mine. Its bright, but at the same time its the perfect color for winter(Christmas)!!

Outift Spotlight- The casual Oxford

My choice of outfit today revolves around the Causal Oxford shirt. Usually you see they business types wearing the very professional version... But while I was shopping at the ever popular Target, I found a very casual version of that same shirt. And so begins the blog about the Casual Oxford. Enjoy!

My outfit today consists of a light blue Casual Oxford, with a blue tank top underneath. My bottoms were black dress pants, with a black zebra belt(my FAVORITE). My shoes were zebra flats from Charming Charlies(the grown-up female version of Toys R Us). My hair was somewhat messy but I made it work. I put a bright patterned scarf in my hair and incorporated it into my pony tail. The jewelry consisted of a blue bracelet my father got me from Singapore and a Legally Blonde the Musical silver bracelet, with a flower necklace and matching earrings with a bejeweled ring. I finished it off with my brand new bag from Target(reminds me of Chanel but for WAY less). I love that bag! I really like this outfit. I even got the inspiration from Miss Lauren Conrad. Dressing for the Office- Vintage!

Like I said in my previous blog, you can bring vintage into business casual. I have been wearing alot of my grandmothers clothes that she gave me and they have been pulled off very well! I enjoy seeing that even clothes from her generation, are still popular in mine.

The first outfit I have posted is a light blue pleated skirt that is almost a sweater fabric. And for the top I wore a flowey off white blouse from Forever 21 with a blue tank top underneath. I tucked the top into the skirt and had the skirt pulled up to my rib cage. For the shoes I am wear a short heeled, off white sling back heels peep toed. Jewelry is blue earrings that match the skirt, a music note dog tag, and breast cancer awareness bracelets. It was very comfortable and perfect for my office. The skirt does have an unfortunate stain on the front, but hey... Its vintage!

This second outfit is another one of my favorites! I paired my grandmothers sheer purple and black patterned top(that ties on the side) with a fuchsia tank top underneath. The bottom half is a knee length black skirt with frillies on the bottom. Although you could not see my shoes, I am wearing black pumps. The jewelry is a single gold bangle on my wrist, a gold Tiffany's heart necklace, and single pearl stud earrings. It was a very comfy outfit and I love that its partly my grandmothers.
